Cristin uses a combination of Acupuncture, Chinese herbs, Medical Qi Gong, Shiatsu Massage, natural supplements, aromatherapy, and dietary counseling to offer her patients a holistic treatment that addresses the physical, spiritual, and environmental causes of illness. Cristin encourages her patients to participate in their own healing process and to work with her as a team to find their most optimal treatment strategy. Cristin has enjoyed teaching Qigong in the Lake Norman area for many years and also relishes her own Qigong practice to keep herself healthy and sane. Outside of work, Cristin enjoys spending time with her baby boy; hiking at the local parks; participating in her book club; and learning how to prepare foods from around the world. She is an avid swimmer, Qi Gong junkie, and wannabe potter. Before entering school for Chinese medicine, Cristin received a BA in French and Anthropology from Alfred University. She spent four months studying the mortuary rituals of the Merina tribe of Madagascar and continues to relish the study of different cultures and religions.
